You can bring anyone u want, but u will usually play with others.

Yes you go on 2 different teams against each other

You can play solo if you'd like. I typically play with my daughter. If there are less than 8 players total, you play "Free for All". 8 or more players is usually "Team Based Tag" unless it's later at night; sometimes it's "Zombies".
