I have been trying to contact your church on Bacons Bridge Rd. in Summerville. There is no answer on the phone and I have driven there several times and no one was there. I was told they have genealogy research available there. Can you help me?

There is only a Geneology Center at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1519 Sam Rittenburg Road. It's open Tues/Thurs from 10am-9pm. And Fri/Sat from 10am-2pm. There is always someone there that can help you if you need it!

Summerville Ward 1 meets from 10-1pm each Sunday, except there is only the sacrament meeting at 10 on the Sunday following Thanksgiving. After the New Year, we will meet from 10-12, due to conference changes within the church. There is a Genealogy Cnter in the Charleston Area Stake Center on Sam Rittenberg in West Ashley, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They are open to the public at various times during the week.

I believe this church is the only family history center in the Charleston area.
