Every time when there is a line when I am there, they always call for help. And it is way faster than Wal-Mart!
That's how they keep their prices so low.
As others have said, I've seen them open additional lines when needed, and no matter how long the lines are, they move FAST. I have no complaints about this store whatsoever. It's the first grocery store EVER that I don't dread going to!
Every time I've been there is a cashier and 1 doing stock and 1 in back. They have always called one of the others up front when it lined up.
It still goes faster than Walmart, even with significantly less employees!
Seldom have I ever been to this store where there was a long-term back-up at the checkouts. Usually, within a few minutes of seeing the lines begin to stretch back into the aisles, someone is calling for more cashiers. I agree with Amber in that I have experienced much longer waits at the nearby Walmart. EVERY thriving store is bound to run into an occasional tight spot somewhere in their history, and in my opinion, Aldi has done quite well in coping with theirs.
Dissatisfied with only one cashier open and long line. 8 people in line. Mgr. Standing talking not doing about it. Its like this a lot. Dread going there.
The store in Johnson City is pretty good at quick checkout, We will see how the Greeneville store is, once opened. HOPEFULLY OPENS SOON!
More registers would be great. Was there today one open 20 people in line
I hear that! I've been shopping at Aldi since I was a little kid and it is always been like that and I would imagine it always will be.
