Shanna, Tawnya and Brittany all gave correct answers. Thank you! In reference to the information from Brittany about not having a job, the first three months of the year long program, we focus on allowing the ladies to become healthy by seeing a doctor, dentist, counselor, and going to the YMCA , etc. During that time they are also involved in classes and other activities. We do not want them to have to work during this time and all expenses are covered by The Dream Center. Following that period, we start focusing on education and employment with the goal of you getting a job that pays you enough to support yourself. We do not focus on a short term, low paying job because ultimately you will continue to struggle. The goal is for you to finish strong, healthy and employed.
Yes so true and they also connect you with other places , food bank is in same building which is so great. THANK GOD FOR THEM!! I am one that got great help and now I'm in a wonderful place living life on my own.
They help the homeless by letting them stay in the little houses and go to these group meetings to pay for staying in the little house. But while the person stays there the dream center will help get the person a job and hopefully by the time the person leaves the dream center they have a place rented and have the ability to keep it. They help to learn money management, drugs, abused, and lots more issues that people deal with.
What they don't tell you about there tiny house program is that it doesn't matter if you already have a job you have to quit the one you have so they can help you find another one
