I have daffodil bulbs that were dug up in the fall- winter. Should they be planted anyway?

Yes , go ahead and plant them now . If they are still firm they could bloom this spring ,but perhaps later than normal . If they are soft or very dry and light weight they may not sprout at all . Trim off dead foliage to near the top of the bulb . Plant about 3” deep in a well drained location in sun or shade . I’ve often planted bulbs that didn’t sell during the fall as late as March and had them sprout leaves only and then bloom again the second year . It really all depends on the condition of the bulb . If they have been in a cool dark place , there’s a good chance they will grow . Once they have several inches of leaf growth , lightly fertilize with bone meal or a low nitrogen slow release fertilizer to help them develop a flower for next year .
