They are requesting that customers avoid getting cash back as well as use debit/credit or exact change due to pandemic related banking issues.
In my experience it has to be something other than an equipment issue because I've hit the button for cash back forgetting about the sign posted claiming "no cashback" and they had no choice but to give me the money. My mother in law visited another location and asked if she could please get cash back this once and explained it was only 20 dollars but she really needed it and the cashier had no problem with it. So it seems to be something beyond just the inability to do it.
They need to work on there machine is not working properly
