Be very careful about where the trees originate! No matter where you buy trees, always ask! A tree nurseried in Michigan will NOT do well in Eastern Tennessee. Also, always plant trees after August 15. Never in the Spring. Don't take my word for it. Go to Tennessee Ag.

I would add that they can give you advice on the best maple tree to plant and if they might have it when is the best time to plant
Stanley's has a lot of everything. Last time I was there, they had maples, but I guess it depends on what kind you want. I do not recommend silver maples, but that's my opinion only.
