It seems unjust that this storewas 24 hours long enough to put the only other 24 hour grocery store out of business. Now, we are stuck have to drive to CONOVER. This is unfair to the community.

Bi-Lo was 24 hours before they went out of business.

It's in Newton and there was no other 24 hr grocery store before Walmart came

BiLo was the other 24 hour store.

Walmart grocery in Newton was opened 24 hours a day until they nudged Bi-Lo, and Honeys out of business, THEN they reduced their 24/7 practice. That's no coincidence! Now in Newton, we only have two store chains to choose from...Walmart, and Food Lion,..so sad.

It's about profitability. There is simply not enough business after midnight to justify being open all night.
