did you look at their cancellation policy?
Yes look at their cancellation policy. They might have purchased items or supplies to prep for your wedding or it might be for the loss of the time slot when they could have book another person.
Please review your contract as it states in there what is refundable and what isn't. Venue fees aren't refundable, so it is most likely a venue fee that wasn't able to be refunded. You can also speak with your planner for more explanation.
They are soo wrong. Nobody should do their wedding w this people. Here it is: ( I cancelled it 4 months before my wedding and 2 weeks after I paid so there are not excuses for not giving me the money back) CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel your ceremony more than thirty (30) days before your confirmed date and time, we will gladly refund all payments except for your initial booking payment of the required package deposit and venue fee. However, if you cancel your ceremony within thirty (30) days of your confirmed date and time, the entire amount paid becomes non-refundable.
They do not give back the down payment you owed them to reserve the place. Ik. I transferred from them to Tropicana then Tropicana couldn't keep their word so we canceled and we are not getting or full amount we gave them
