You may buy pumpkins that are put in a field but you don't actually pick them off the vine.
Yes
Pumpkins are available in a field next to the sheep in the back. They're not on the vine but the field is large and easy to navigate with kids. I can't speak to the selection at this time
The Friends of Muscoot has a "Pumpkin Picking Weekend" held every year on Columbus day weekend, when they have all staff and volunteers on hand to sell pumpkins as a fundraiser. After that weekend selling times are limited, but you can call to find out if they will be selling again.
Pumpkins can also be found in the farm stand. Yes, the selection is thin by now... but it is still worth going.
Right now the selection is slim. Most of the pumpkins are just on the ground already picked.
