The McDonald's handbook states that so long as the hair is not in the way, causing it hard to perform the employee's job, and that hair is not able to get around the food it is fine. Or is put up into a hat or visor of some sort will suffice. It is not legally susceptible for a person to wear a hairnet. A lot of other places want you to wear a hairnet but that is just their policy
By OSHA rules anyone working with food id supposed to wear helair nets.
