I've been going there a while now and I've never seen classes being held. Never heard of it as an option either.
Yes they have classes, there's a form for classes you fill out. Unless they changed it.

Nope planet fitness is a strictly new to the gym person kind of gym so no classes are offered as they consider that a little advanced.
