THEY NO LONGER CHECK YOUR PURSE OR BACKPACK. THEY DO NOT ALLOW OUTSIDE FOOD SO YOU'RE ON YOUR HONOR.
Yes they always check people bags for anything... to see if u are bringing any kind of snacks from the outside
Yes, they will check your purse, and any other types of bags being brought in. It is not too much of an intrusive search from my own experience, but just quick look-see.
They usually do a formal check, like others have mentioned. I'm sure they won't make you take everything out.
