You should go speak with the imam at your masjid closest to you for advice on what to do

Most Imam have no idea what to do about addicted muslims. There are individuals however who have gained control over their addiction. Find a group called Mubari Islam they deal with addiction and they hold meetings at MIB Masjid, 113 St and St Nicholas, in Manhattan.

Also in the musnad of imam Ahmad on the authority of usama ibn shareeq that the prophet peace be upon him also said Allah has not send any illness except that he has sent down it's cure, the one who knows it knows and the who is ignorant of it is ignorant of it. 2.Allah has stated that the Qur'an is a cure(heart, soul and body(mental/physical) and a Mercy for the believers. Ibn qayyim explained that all of the Quran is a cure. Authenticated in Sahih bukhari and Sahih Muslim was that a ruler of a land was cured by surah Al Fatiha that was read over him by one of the companions that were passing by while travelling. So I personally recommend you religiously read the ARABIC Quran everyday until you are cured like 50 -100 pages if you can. Everyone differs in ability. But train urself to be diligent and then it will become easier when you find that your weary on some days. And pls strongly recommended to ask the imam of this masjid not just any imam.
