Lot A and C. Should be free, right next to the AFC not a long walk at all, 3-5 min. ^ don't pay for parking like this person suggests. During the peak of the day it may be harder to find a spot up front but there is plenty of parking. Do NOT park at University Mall, what a nightmare ! There's plenty of closer options on campus go to lot A and C and you should be fine, Mason already knows there's a huge meet going on. If you're concerned call the AFC and they will let you know for sure.
A couple of ways to do this. 1. If you are okay with paying for parking, you have paid lots open throughout the campus. Checkout parking.gmu.edu. Costs around 3 USD an hour as far as I remember. Mason Pond, Shenandoah area and Rappahannock River Parking Decks should be your options as far as I remember ( been like 6 months since I graduated lol) 2. Free options also exist, but they can be a bit of a walk to afc. Would not recommend these. 3. Slightly hackier way : there's this student housing thing called masonvale pretty close to afc. Might consider parking there. They don't check for tickets until late in the night. 4. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, there's university mall pretty close to the afc. Walkable / not... Depends entirely on you. This is free. Best of luck!
