I've seen other birds but no parrots before. I agree with others, I would try finding a reputable breeder before buying one from a pet store.

I agree find a reputable breeder and go that route, pet stores often purchase illicitly caught/breeded animals unknowingly

They may have a couple common parrots but I never see many. Personally,, I wouldn't by a parrot at any pet store. More than likely it will be a wild caught bird. Google breeders of the species you would like. They hand raise the babies which makes them more likely to be friendly pets that can be handled. Do your research. A parrot is a huge responsibility as some live 50 yrs. Good luck.
