I don't like filling it especially if insurance will cover a new windshield...
I was told if.the crack is larger than a $1 bill they will need to replace. Agree with others if insurance covers just replace it. They even offer to come to your house and replace, very convenient and they were quick.
I would replace the windshield if the insurance is paying

First, Make sure if your insurance agency cover the change of the windshield. Cause This is the best option!
