Why don't you put out a schedule of when fireworks are going to be lit? Tonight, 23rd Sept. Very, very loud fireworks went off.....I was not,prepared and so now I have a cat missing! He belongs to my son who is deployed.....dam!

Not sure if this helps at all, ma'am, but the Clarke County State Adminstered Fairgrounds only set off fireworks for their Fourth of July evening show. More than likely, this was an individual(s) not affiliated with the Fairgrounds. That is unfortunate to hear about the cat, though.

Yeah that was definitely not an event sanctioned by anyone affiliated with the fairgrounds.

I think it was the Fiber Festival people letting them off. They did last year as well. Don't they have to have a permit?
