Looking to buy next year. If there are so many owners stating they have flags as well as many neighbors, what is the issue? Do they allow American Glags or not?

Hi, my name is Donna Nelson, I am a home owner and a Realtor. Just so everyone knows, we all have a right to install a flag holder or even a flag post and fly our Beautiful American Flag, I am very patriotic. The deal with Larry Murphy is that he lived in a Condo, and yes our American Flag was can and always is allowed to fly here, but in the condo deed restrictions which he had to have signed before purchasing the home, their was an agreement to not have anything in your personal flower basket. He broke that rule and that is all what the scrapple was about. I would never live in a community wherein I could not proudly display our American Flag. Jacksonville, Fl is a Patroit City. Just watching the news and this poor elderly veteran had to move out of his place because the HOA put leans on his house because of a flag that he refused to remove from a planter. He has been battling for 11 years with Sweetwater at DelWebb. It’s a shame the DelWebb corporate office didn’t get involved and fix this issue. Shame on all of them on that HOA board!
