I paid a security deposit of $500 for an event at this venue, and a further $1100 dollars. There is now some complications and want a refund of my $1000. I contacted the venue, I was told I cannot speak to the owner. Advise me on what to do?

I would suggest you follow the written cancellation instructions in your contract and/or the verbal instructions of the office manager. Schedule an appointment and we will be glad to talk to you, review your cancellation, and the contract.

I would get legal advice as soon as possible. I only attended affairs there and not familiar with business arrangements.
