Husband does not take psych meds as prescribed,he has actually stopped taking them. He j Has gone down hill in last 8 months. Isolates, sleeps for days. He refuses to take Psych Dr orders . Can I, his Wife petition for him to be admitted ?

No 5150 in Arizona. I work there. You cannot petition someone for not taking medications. If he is a danger to himself or someone else and you have a witness willing to sign a legal document to that fact, then you can petition him.

I believe it's called a 5150 hold. It's for evaluation and services. You might to call and ask specific terms. He has to be a danger to himself or others if you decide to do this. Pick one.
