You can walk the grounds for free but the tours get you special access to certain areas. We purchased tickets on site yesterday. There were only six spots left so we got lucky. Tour price was $30 and worth every penny.
You can by your tickets on site but sometimes you have to have to purchase for future tours. They sell out often from our experience.
There are different tours to pick from, each have a price. Idk if you can buy them on-site, you can book online. You can go and visit the shops and the grounds for free, no admission fee.
