Majority of my business are walk-ins and when everyone comes in all at once including large parties with any business it slows the kitchen down. We never want those to wait a long time for their dinners to come out so when that happens, we have to hold the door for seating so my kitchen can get caught up. The size of my kitchen to the amount of tables I have is limited. Inside seating is for overflow and reservations only. When its a nice day, weekend and being one of the only restaurants here on Lake Norman to offer a great view, live entertainment and great food, you'll have a wait. We do our best, but never want to rush any guests. Thank you again and hope you will be patient.
They may have reservations and giving them time to arrive but we have never had to wait. They also might be short staffed and making sure you have a decent experience when they have available staff
I think everyone has covered the bases...the restaurant always wants you to have a great experience!
There are times when perhaps the kitchen gets slammed with a large party order. At this time there needs to be a "false" wait in order to allow the kitchen to catch up a bit.
When I have been here I never had a wait.
