Yes as a matter of fact, there are organizations, groups and ministries that are a part of their make a meal program. My children's ministry goes in and makes a meal every year.
Yes. My family was there a few weeks ago while our son had heart surgery. They have pantry with quick food to cook. They serve breakfast and dinner, there are things to cook and left overs in the fridge. The hospital also has a snack area and social workers will help with meal vouchers if needed. Everything was extremely accommodating and helpful. We spent a good bit of money not being home but the Ronald McDonald house in Rochester made things just a bit easier. Everything is donation so getting your own food if possible is always good. After are stay we gave a donation and plan on helping when we can. Truly great resource and caring people. If you call someone will answer your questions as well.
