Camelback Mountain Adventures will operate in the rain, but we may suspend operations during the day of your visit if there is lightning in the general area. If we have lightning within a 20 mile radius, the park goes on “lightning hold.” We will allow guests to continue to the end of the ropes course they are currently on, but we do not allow anyone on the ground to begin another TreeTops Adventure Course. In the event of lighting within a 15 mile radius of the park, we clear all courses immediately. Guests that are within an aerial obstacle or two of the end of a ropes course will go to the end of that course and hold. Guests that are within an aerial obstacle at the beginning of a course must backtrack and leave the course. Guests in the middle of a ropes course will be lowered to the ground by the guide staff. All guests will then clear the woods and wait out the storm in the Camelback Mountain Adventure Lodge. If we cannot resume operations within 90 minutes, guests will be issued
