there is minimal to no light pollution. you can see many many stars and a clear night.

I spend days at the park but at night we are in a well lit area away from the park. Hard to see more than the stairs.

Agreed with the above. No light pollution. On a clear night, you can see quite a bit even without a telescope. I would recommend you bring one if you're a serious sky-gazer 😉
