Yes the owner sold it. However it will be open and they intend on using the same recipe!
I believe the owner retired last year, not sure if the establishment will be open this summer. Maureen's was the best ice cream shop in the area, however there are a few shops in Nanticoke, and one on the San Souci Blvd. Check out Chi-Chi's in Nanticoke, and there is one that isn't open as if yet across from Turkey Hill in Nanticoke.
