Are classes offered on how to use a serger?

Yes and No. there are no classes for sergers however if there is a teacher on staff that teaches it, you could have it done through a private class. The only way you would know for certain would be to call the store and speak to the manager who would know which teachers can provide that service to you. it's also important to note that if you buy a serger from The Viking Store which is another store within Joann they will teach you how to use the equipment but they won't teach you how to serge or coverstich. Essentially you can get up to 6 weeks tutoring time in how to feed the thread but again that's how to feed the thread not how to serge or coverstitch.
