I agree. No official parking ng, but if you can hike a couple of blocks, you can usually find free parking on the streets, and it's safe. Otherwise, check the website for pay to park that's closer. We actually parked last week a block east of the theater and south a couple of blocks, maybe 5 minute walk, and it was fine.
We just saw 10th Avenue North there and parked directly across the street for $12 in the Presbyterian Church parking lot. Gotta book in advance.

I parked in town hall for free after 5pm.. otherwise it's hard around the way.
There is no official parking lot for MPAC but there are several choices around the area at reasonable cost (from free to about $7). Check the MPAC website which has a.link for parking.
