Sadly that is often true. To get any help you need to go in personally. I think they have about 15 people working at a time or at least it feels that way. I have experienced that walmart severely understaffs their stores leading to a frustrating shopping experience for them and us.
I've had this problem today. I got so frustrated I called Pharmacy and asked if they could transfer me, that didn't work. Finally someone answered in electronics. (I'm trying to get ahold of customer services) Apparently customer services has had a broken line and it got replaced but it isn't programmed with the phone system so when you get ahold of someone, they will need to manually transfer but hardly anyone knows the direct line to customer service. I was able to get someone who knew it and I was transferred over!
