In honesty "Connie Hill" i dont know why that happened but it wasn't supposed too! What I usually do is, reserve online, call in before I arrive and confirm the vehicle class upon arriving. You are the customer, so until you are satisfied you shouldn't sign or drive off the Enterprise property. Hopefully my response helps you out a bit.

Sorry Niecy, but even if you call ahead to confirm that a reservation you made a month ago is "all-set" they will tell you that it is and then you'll get there and they'll try to give you something else (lower class) or just tell you they have nothing available. Happened to me last week and while my husband waited for them to resolve the issue he heard others having the same issue that day.
We had no problems, everything went great. Would use again
