No, if you stay at one of the 2 small beaches. However, when we were there 2 days ago, it was closed for swimming due to high levels of ecoli bacteria in the water.
Weedy? As in full of water plants? No, it gets deep in the middle. There are a lot of leaves around the edges, though.
