Hi Karen, Thanks for your question and thank you to the others who posted correctly that we have one car available to touch and sit in for photos, a Citroën 2CV (this is marked with a banner that it is our "picture car"). As for the rest of the collection, you are welcome to take as many photos as you like, but we ask that you please don't touch the cars. The one exception is that we do have a Guided Touch Tour available for blind or partially-sighted visitors. More information about this can be found at: https://www.lanemotormuseum.org/visit-lane-motor-museum/accessibility#guided-touch-tours If you have any more questions, feel free to call us at 615-742-7445. We're happy to help! Thank you, Vicki Garrison Lane Motor Museum
Like Josh said, there's a really cool Citroen 2cv you can sit in, but everything else is hands off. If your son is into cars he might love a "Touch a truck" event that fire stations or police stations put on. Most old cars like Lane has have either a lot of monetary value or intrinsic value from history, and I'm not sure I've ever found a museum where you can touch all the exhibits. Good luck!
There is one car when you get in you can touch and actually sit in
You can touch them and be very close for great pictures.
There's one specific car you can touch, but everything else is hands off.
