Can I shoot my 20 gauge shotgun here? And I dont have a carry case for it so is it ok of I just disassemble the barrel to make it safe before I come in?

I've been coming to this range for a while and have seen plenty of people walk in with rifles and handguns without cases BUT I DONT KNOW there official policy on this,I can say these people are pretty laid back tho....you want to make sure its unloaded and the muzzle facing downwards..also call ahead before you go if you're shooting a shotgun..theres a separate range/room for shotguns and Sometimes the room would he occupied by training class or course...I've shot my 12gauge here plenty of times and the room was empty but just in case call ahead and ask
