Hey Joan, help with chronic pain is a side effect of the treatment for opiod addiction and not the primary reason for the clinic. Unless you're addicted to opiates and have positive drug screening at evaluation for treatment they can't help you, legally. The license to operate is restricted to the treatment of opioid addiction and while aiding those people who have chronic pain they are not in the field of pain management. Many clients began down the road to addiction because of pain treatment and it snowballed into heroin or fentanyl addiction. So unless you have a substance abuse issue the clinic cannot offer you any help. I have chronic pain and after dealing with several doctors and getting no help, I went to the emergency room everyday until the primary care physician broke down and gave me pain medication and referred me to a pain management specialist. Of course I eventually become addicted and found myself using heroin between prescriptions. I found myself at the clinic.
Tom you preaching to the choir! Please lady bug if you’re not taking opiates. Don’t start! That’s why we all go to the clinic.
