You can purchase a day pass to use the all of the facilities (pool, weight room, raquetball court, etc) for one day, or you can buy a 6 month or 1 year membership. If you buy a day pass I believe you can bring one person as a guest, so their admission would be free. Unfortunately there are no completely free options, which is odd for a charitable organization...
It depends on what you want to do there. My kids take swimming lessons and we do other activities there so we pay for the activities but are not members. You can do some of the community activities for free but if you want to just workout without it being a specific activity then you should pay for a membership. If you qualify for silver sneakers its reasonable or if you are low income they have scholarship funds. We have been going as non members for over 16 years. Vist the website, look at the activities and pricing. The program brochure is very helpful.
