You need a license and a major credit card. You can use a debit card, but a credit check is performed. You have to have excellent credit, otherwise you'll have to use a credit card
Yes a valid driver and major credit card. It can be a pre paid credit card also but must be in your name. Only some locations accept debit cards I rent from avis all the time.
