I have a 2016 Mini Cooper, 2 door hardtop. The light showing my left rear tire is low. I have had the tires checked but the notice will not clear. If I need to have the sensor replaced would it be covered by the warranty? Thank you for your help

Our was covered for 100,000 miles and 2012 we had a 3 door and it was covered under the warranty...

If the tire pressure is indeed correct. And you've held the reset button down and it still didn't clear after about 15min. Sensor could be faulty. Definitely suggest having it serviced at that point. Or just ignore it, but that could also mean ignoring the cause which might be a larger problem. I have had 2 Minis from these folks and they've always done a solid job of caring for my cars.

Linda, it may be better for us to look at your vehicle to diagnose the issue with the tire sensor. You are welcome to call one of our Service Advisors at 916-483-6464 or drop in during our Service dept hours, our team will provide a complimentary inspection for tire issues and appointments are not necessary. The Service department is open Mon-Fri 7am to 6pm, Saturday 8am - 5pm. We look forward to helping you!
