No its an island and usually people do camping there. Its reachable by boat. We kayal there from the landing and not gonna do it again. There are some place near to stay but not in the island itself. No structure there except the lighthouse.
Morris Island, SC is an uninhabited island accessible only by boat. The lighthouse stands just offshore in Lighthouse Inlet at the eastern end of Folly Island. The lighthouse is viewable from the beach at ccprc.com/3149/Lighthouse-Inlet-Heritage-Preserve Tidesfollybeach.com is a valued supporter of SavetheLight.org. This hotel is located just 3.4 miles from the preserve on the front beach.
You go through a Nature reserve or around on the beach to get to the other side where the light house is.... Only beach house and condos before then.... Hotels not to far
No. You can stay in Charleston or Mt.Pleasant and drive to nearby place to park and walk to the beach within seeing distance to the lighthouse. It's well worth it.
