I have moved from NC to SC. In the process i lost the title to a car i bought inNC. I have bill of sale, taxes receipt. Can I get my tags without a title even though i have all other info? Do I NEED TO GET NC to issue title? Help please.

My husband and I just moved here last yr and they wouldn't license it w/o the title. I would make sure you have the title just to be safe and save a headache.

You would have to get a new title from NC it's easy you have to wait a bit but you might be able to get a temporary tag in sc

You can try for it' and if it doesn't work , just get the title" as soon as possible .
