Yes, although you can purchase bags of various sorts to bag your groceries once you check out. The store has a counter available for this purpose.
Totally worth the effort, the cost savings and quality more than make up for any inconveniences.
You still have to use $0.25 in order for you to use the carts. They have several different types of bags that you can purchase at different prices, or you can bring your own. I occasionally just find an empty box and use that to carry my groceries to my vehicle. Overall these tactics allow Aldi provide groceries at a competitive price.
By bringing your own bags and paying 25cents. For your cart, which you get back, when returned is cost cutting for business ,And in turn past on to the customer with lower prices.
Still works the same way
$0.25 cart deposit prevents loose buggies from blowing around the parking lot dinging cars... I wish all stores did this. You can buy paper bags for a dime or bring your own.
They do have different kinds of bags you can purchase: paper, plastic, insulated, etc. And yes, you do still need a quarter for the cart. But sometimes you get lucky & get one that someone left their quarter in!
Yes it's the same way
