How old do you have to be to get a tattoo with a parents signature

It is North Carolina state law that you have to be 18 to be tattooed.

I don't know that age but my daughter was 15 n We had to show ID both of our address had to mix.I hope this helps she didn't get a tattoo she got nose piercing
