There use to be power when I first started renting units. I like to rearrange and go thru my units at nights, as it is cooler then... So, lighting is a must for me! When the new owners came on-board they shut all units off... NO ELECTRICITY at all! Now the advertised, "alarmed" units don't work either! NO ALARMS! I have several 10x30 units; and, I am stuck staying, as it would be an enormous burden on me moving everything and very exspensive! I loved this small and ez accessible facility with wonderful management. Now, it's changed management & owners; and, you don't get what you signed up for anymore... very disappointing! NO SAFETY with lights or alarms working! Now, I don't think people should be running refrigerators or freezers in the units... But, I would like to have lighting to SEE in the larger units like mine for safety & sight and the alarms working again!
No! But you can tie into the light fixture to power low amp fixtures. I have a refrigerator plugged up in mine.
