I called a few days a ago asking if AmeriGroup (medicaid) covers for Contact lenses and the told me it does but you have to be 21+. I’m not 21+, So can the insurance cover for the eye exam? Or do I have to pay for that to?

Hello Kevin, that is correct Amerigroup has a benefit for contact lens fittings for members over 21 however a routine eye exam is covered for all of their members. This will give you a comprehensive eye exam, option for dilation, and an eyeglass Rx. Any further questions feel free to call the office.
