Beer from Kane is so good how can you not drink it immediately? For certain canned beer last much longer in the fridge. But personally would not save longer than 6 months refrigerated from a microbrewery. Especially an Ale. Stouts don't tend to loose flavor as fast as an Ale.
IPA's definitely lose their appeal after a few months. Stouts and darker brews last much longer on the shelf and can still be enjoyable after a couple years.
