Yes, you have to be a member to use the facility. A youth membership is $26 per month and a dual youth membership is $52 per month. Also, a family membership is $86 per month (includes 2 adults and any child under 18 years of age). There is a special join fee for $4 instead of $75 for a family membership starting tomorrow.
FUN FACT: Chlorine has no oder... That strong "pool" smell is a result of chlorine mixing with urine. The stronger the oder, the higher the concentration of urine. Happy swimming!
