This isn't the forum for complaints. The food, and service isn't that good anyway. No one from the business probably won't ever see this.
Hey, it's not unheard of at all 4 local restaurants to start locking their doors ahead of closing time. Actually, it's pretty common. Here's the thing - A major chain restaurant might let you in 2 minutes before closing time because their staff is going to be there until midnight shutting the place down anyway, but it isn't always practical or affordable for a small business to operate on those extended hours. Thus, they start shutting down ahead of time. The chain's closing time is more of a "last call to be served", whereas a local business' closing time might be more like "the restaurant and kitchen are completely shut down at this point". So, would you rather be seated and have to be told half the stuff on the menu isn't available because the kitchen is already half shut down, or be saved the trouble altogether by locked doors? If you do go back, the pancakes are always good, and so are the phillies!
Consider yourself lucky, the food sucks!
If the place wants to close down an hours and 15 minutes early then they should adjust their hours accordingly. Not lie and say they're open but lock the doors. People use the posted hours to know whether they can get food or not. If they want to be out of work by 830 then they need to say their hours are untill 730 and not lie about it
