Would not step in that water especially with all the problems that are going around you can catch a bad infection
No you can't because of the water quality and you might come there and see people at the little tiny Beach dipping their feet or kid's playing in the sand the park rangers won't say anything sometimes you do sometimes you don't plus this is water moccasin mating season so just be careful if you decide to go into the water

People swim, but the health dept has clear signs not to. They have high fluctuations in bacteria, not to mention the chemicals from APG that were dumped in that water for years back in the day. They're still trying to figure out how to remove it from the sediment. Swim and fish at your own risk!
