The old Lexington Market seemed barren when I last visited in July. Many of the vendors had closed permanently. The Market remains poorly lit, and somewhat grimy in there. There nonetheless are still vendors that provide tasty food and that sell reasonably priced items. I moreover noticed that the Lexington Market was far less populated than last year or circa 2019.
Many of the vendors are closed (including the long term bakery) because of the renovations. I heard they were closing down the Market this week and the new market which they built next door won't be open till spring.
Yes you can
I can't say, but probably so, they have many fine bakeries and stores.
I don't know what a cookie berger is; never heard of it!
