To work as a home health aide for Sara Companion HomeCare Services you will need the following documentation: NYS DOH HHA or PCA Valid Certificate Physical Exam Report (dated within the last year) PPD, MMR and 8-10 Panel Drug Screening Reports Record of Flu Shot for current season (or you may sign a waiver) 2 forms of ID 2 professional references Employee history and/or resume (if you have one) Note: We do not usually hire CNAs unless they also have a HHA certificate and are willing to work in the capacity of a HHA.

I believe you need one to work for them. They won't hire you unless you have one. And they do need aids. They always short of aids.
